I love plants, but from past experience I’ve learn I have the opposite of a green thumb. A recent trip to the local art supply store provided me with the perfect solution for adding green to my apartment- fake succulents!
At first I had my reservations about using fake flowers. My Grandma to this day still has fake ivy above her kitchen cabinets with about an inch of dust on the leaves. (That’s enough to turn anyone off to the idea.) But after taking a look at the adorable fake succulents they have available, I decided to make an exception to my “only real flowers” rule. They looked so realistic… and they were 50% off at Porters. Can you blame me for snatching them up?
Plus, I had this adorable terrarium I got as a wedding gift over a year ago that I’ve always wanted to fill with plants. To add an extra special little touch I added these small little “firefly” lights that we’re only $5. Let me know what you think by adding your comments below.
