Strawberry Crepes

I’ve got a big sweet tooth on my hands. With the 4th of July coming up, this is the perfect treat for Breakfast on Independence Day. Tell me how yours turned out!

Tip: Add blueberries for a red, white, and blue treat!

Spring Strawberry Crepes


For Crepes:

4 cups milk

2 2/3 cups flour

2 eggs

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 teaspoon baking powder

4 tablespoons sugar

For Toppings:

Powdered Sugar

Strawberry Jelly or Preservatives

Sliced Fresh Strawberries


Spring Strawberry Crepes

Cooking Instructions: 

1. Mix all crepe ingredients together until smooth.

2.Spray a frying pan with cooking spray. Heat the pan until it is hot. Pour a thin layer of your batter on the pan.

3. When the batter starts to bubble it is ready to flip. This will take about 2 minutes. Flip and cook another minute or until light brown. Take off stove and put on plate.

4. Spread 1-2 tablespoons of strawberry jam in the middle. Cut up 2-3 strawberries into thin strips and put on top of jam. Fold over two sides of crepe. Cover in syrup and powdered sugar to taste. Enjoy!

For a fun twist; add blueberries for red, white, and blue fun!
