Apartment Eighteen Boutique Review + Giveaway

online boutique review

Fashionistas these days are turning away from shopping at the mall for their newest outfit, and instead turning to online boutiques. One problem that I’ve found with shopping online is that I’m unsure if the quality matches the price of the item. A way that I’ve found to put away this uncertainty is to read what my most trusted blogger friends have to say about the products, before purchasing them. You have to be careful though, some bloggers will give good reviews on any product they receive from a company. If you ever read a blog that only gives good reviews, that should be a red flag.

I originally found Apartment Eighteen on Instagram. Their clothes and accessory were so cute; I couldn’t wait to try them out. If you aren’t already following them, I urge you to do so because they update their page frequently so you always know what’s in stock. (To enter the giveaway, scroll to the bottom of this post.)

Unlike other online boutiques, I found that Apartment Eighteen’s clothing was super affordable, usually under $30. A skirt, dress, or shirt for less than $30 that is great quality? Sign me up! Plus, each of their pieces has adorable details that really make the whole outfit. (zippers, special stitching, and split-backs, oh my!)

Apartment Eighteen sent me their Split Back Aztec Top to try out. I pride myself in giving honest reviews of each of the products I receive, so here’s a little about my experience wearing and caring for the shirt.

The Aztec top came in a plain, soft shipping sleeve, nothing too special, but when I opening it, the shirt was tied up with a cute bow and thank you card. So cute! I’m someone who really likes when companies appreciate me as a customer, and apparently Apartment Eighteen does.

Another thing I really liked is the invoice that came with the top. It clearly states what was sent, where to return your product in case you have a problem with it, and their return policy. Plus, they allow you 21 days to return your item if needed.

Opening the package, I found that Apartment Eighteen sent me their Black Peal Headband as well. As a big connoisseur of headbands and pretty things for my hair, I was amazed at how well the headband stayed on my head over time and how comfy it was. Plus, the neutral colors make it perfect to pair with many different outfits.

I absolutely loved the Aztec Top. It is made out of light material, so even though the sleeves go down to about the elbows, to would be cool enough to wear in the summer. Plus, the material is durable, so it looks new even after being washed.

This shirt would look adorable paired with a statement necklace, like I have done, or even worn with a bandeau bra.

The split back is gorgeous and would be light a breezy for summer, but I prefer a little more coverage so I wore it with a black tank top.

Another great feature is the length. A lot of affordable shirts are super short. This shirt has enough length that it can easily cover you and feel comfortable. Plus, it’s slightly longer in the back, perfect for more coverage on the booty. That’s one thing I love from online boutiques, you can always find exactly what you are looking for.

  1. I really like the Peach Embroidered Summer Top. The details are pretty, and so are the colors. I do wish they would show the length of it a bit better onlibe, but it is quite nice

  2. Cute shop! One of my favorites is their Striped Sweetheart Lace Dress. So fun for the Summer time. 🙂

  3. I like all their clothing! The summer shirt dress or Charleston top in orange are my favorites!
